The sixth Swiss-US Energy Innovation Days (SUEID) took place between the 6th and 9th October in Austin and San Antonio, Texas (USA). SUEID was organised by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, swissnex San Francisco, the Texas State Energy Conservation Office and many more local partners. The SUEID provides a collaborative networking forum where attendees exchange ideas and explore energy innovation, strategies, market developments and policies from both countries. The event, which was attended by more than 80 Swiss and US participants, featured inspiring panels, seminars, workshops, field trips and interactive presentations. Kirstin Stadelmann presented the iimt Crowd Energy concept and the related human-powered paradigm shift. Additionally, she highlighted the iimt's research activities in this field. The SUEID was an excellent opportunity to bring together professionals from industry, government and academics while showcasing promising energy technologies, future developments and energy solutions.
