The 12th International Conference FCTA has recently awarded two researchers of the Faculty. Indeed, Dr Rédina Berkachy and Prof. Laurent Donzé won the “Best Student Paper Award” in submitting and presenting a paper entitled “Fuzzy Confidence Intervals by the Likelihood Ratio with Bootstrapped Distribution”.
FCTA (Fuzzy Computation Theory and Application), part of IJCCI (International Joint Conference on Computational Intelligence), is a major conference in the field of fuzzy computation. Theory and applications of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic appear more and more appealing in computational intelligence with applications in a large range of domains. The paper presented gives a new way to construct fuzzy intervals in using likelihood ratios, extended so the possibilities of fuzzy inferences.
La 12e Conférence internationale FCTA a récemment récompensé deux chercheurs de la Faculté. En effet, la Dr Rédina Berkachy et le Prof. Laurent Donzé ont gagné le « Best Student Paper Award » en soumettant et présentant un article intitulé « Fuzzy Confidence Intervals by the Likelihood Ratio with Bootstrapped Distribution ». FCTA (Fuzzy Computation Theory and Application) fait partie de IJCCI (International Joint Conference on Computational Intelligence) et est une conférence majeure dans le domaine « fuzzy computation ». La théorie et les applications des ensembles flous et de la logique floue sont de plus en attractives en intelligence computationnelle, avec un large spectre d’applications. L’article présenté fournit une nouvelle procédure de construction d’intervalles flous en utilisant les ratios de vraisemblance, étendant ainsi les possibilités d’inférence floue.
