Dear Partners, Colleagues, and Future Students, as we step into a new season full of opportunities, we’re excited to share some of the highlights that have marked the start of 2025. Since our last autumn newsletter, the iimt has continued to grow through impactful events, new collaborations, and strategic developments. Here’s a look back at the key moments that have shaped the past months and set the tone for an inspiring spring semester:
Strategic Partnership: Groupe E Signs Gold Partnership
In early April, we were excited to announce that Groupe E has signed a Gold partnership with the iimt, further strengthening our long-standing collaboration. This new phase of our partnership reflects our shared commitment to advancing lifelong learning, fostering innovation, and enhancing industry-academic cooperation. Together, we aim to empower professionals with future-ready skills, co-develop meaningful learning and research initiatives, and strengthen the connection between industry needs and academic excellence. We look forward to deepening this partnership and exploring new opportunities together in the future.
Anchor Day 2025 – A Day of Connection and Exchange
On January 23rd, the iimt had the pleasure of welcoming participants from the CAS Agile Leadership program, along with alumni, for a dynamic and inspiring Anchor Day.
The event brought together colleagues from both the Swiss-German and Romandie regions of Swisscom, fostering a unique cross-cultural exchange. The day featured engaging presentations, thoughtful discussions, and an atmosphere of openness and collaboration.
We’re proud to have hosted such a vibrant gathering and extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their energy, insights, and enthusiasm. The day concluded with a friendly networking aperitif—closing the event on a high and collegial note.
Team Changes at the iimt
This spring brings some changes to our team. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Melissa Rohrer as she moves on to new professional adventures, and we sincerely appreciate all she has brought to the institute. At the same time, we’re happy to announce that Anne-Emmanuelle Blum will be joining us in June to step into Melissa’s role. We’re excited to welcome her and look forward to the perspectives and enthusiasm she will contribute.

Shaping the Future of Learning in 2025
The iimt’s 2025 academic offering is gearing up for a dynamic year ahead, with a focus on flexibility, relevance, and real-world impact. Our programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of professionals, whether they’re seeking a targeted certification or aiming for a full degree.
We’re particularly excited about the successful launch of new CAS programs, including International Business, Artificial Intelligence for Managers, Strategic Management, Softskills, Ethical Management and Leading Innovation and Change. While these programs begin later in the year, we’ve already seen strong interest and positive feedback from those who have registered.
With a variety of CAS courses scheduled to start in the coming months, there’s still time to join the Class of 2025 and enhance your skills in key areas that are shaping today’s organizations. Visit our website for detailed program information, dates, and registration guidelines: www.unifr.ch/iimt
