On March 19, the 4th Symposium of Causal Inference in the Health Sciences was hosted by Prof. Martin Huber (Chair of Applied Econometrics and Policy Evaluation) at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences.
This year’s symposium focused on the intersection of causal analysis (e.g. for assessing health effects of medical treatments) and artificial intelligence, with keynote talks by leading experts, including Prof. Jonas Peters from the ETH Zurich. The event brought together around 40 researchers from Switzerland and abroad in person, with an additional 80 participants joining online: 2026 Causality Symposium
